Interfaith
Ministries
needs your help!
People in our area who live on low and moderate
incomes face critical problems as the cost of gasoline, food, medications
and other living essentials continue to increase. Those who are in the
lowest income brackets are suffering most.
Interfaith is assisting with dental care,
prescription medications, utilities, and rent in an attempt to prevent
homelessness and assist the needy.
Through the Meals-on-Wheels programs of
Interfaith, individuals who are unable to prepare their meals and have
no one to assist them with meal preparation are provided a hot meal five
days per week. Some are unable to pay for these meals and we must look
for funds to assist with the cost.
Requests for assistance have increased
substantially in the past few weeks. A donation from you will permit
us to continue to provide assistance to those with the most critical needs
- from Martha Vandervoort.
Interfaith Ministries is also in need of
donations of new or clean, used fans. Fans can be dropped off at The
Bridge, 1431 Gurnee Avenue, Anniston.
