We at Oxford First United Methodist Church place great importance on reaching out beyond our church doors. In today’s world hunger is real to many people. Through our weekly sandwich ministry, monthly community food distribution, and our Soup for the Soul ministry we reach many.
Through our Media Ministry, we are striving to make the love of Christ available to those who are unable to be with us in person. |

Rev. Delaney went to Candler School of Theology at Emory University and was just recently commissioned by the North Alabama Conference as a Provisional Elder.
She is passionate about preaching, studying and teaching Scripture, building authentic relationships, music, art, and shining a light on injustice through meaningful conversation and working alongside those in our society who are outcast and downtrodden. Delaney loves to talk about what God has done in her life— God is her strength and comfort and has truly made a way for her when there was no way.
